In celebration of my 1st Blogoversary, I decided to host a Mystery Giveaway. 

The mystery is the prize.  I will slowly begin to reveal what it is as we near the end of the giveaway.

New Start

I've been super busy this month, so I only have time for a quick update.  My new start is a graduation piece for my brother.  The pattern is from the Better Homes and Gardens 2001 Cross Stitch Designs book.

Now it's time for a new theme!

May Memories
    Remember when you took that class? Or decided to commemorate that event? And then abandoned your poor WIP? Take a stroll down memory lane by working on it again.

I'm going to alter this just a little bit. I HAVE to get my brother's graduation piece done by June (I'm starting it tonight). So this month being about memories, I decided to work on the piece that will have the most memories attached when you look at it.   :) 

I hope to have pictures of my new start soon....

IHSW

Well I had a very successful International Hermit-and-Stitch Weekend (IHSW)!  I consider myself somewhat of a slow stitcher, but last weekend I think I did especially well.

 is two little white stitches. 

I almost finished back stitching her dress. 
The lazy daises took me a while to stitch.  :P

April ORT Report

I have been so busy stitching and sewing lately that I didn't realize I hadn't blogged in a week.  Whoops!

New Profile Picture

I just wanted to let y'all know that I changed my profile picture.  I know it's kind of the accepted thing to keep it the same so everyone recognizes you, but I thought my picture actually needed me in it.  :)  My brother, who is graduating this year, decided to surprise me and pose in the background.  I had to keep it because it's just too funny!

This also makes me wonder......what made you decide on your profile picture?
